DIY Felt Valentine’s Day Wreath

I love felt. Sometimes I grab a pair of scissors and just start cutting. Relaxation is whatever you want it to be. Here I made a Valentine’s Day wreath just for fun, and well, I was craving a chocolate dipped strawberry.

Sturdy felt is where it is at. Here I sewed pearls onto the heart and sequins onto the XO because why not. When sewing onto felt, or adding details, layer with hot glue so you don’t see the underside. Actually that is one of my favorite parts of felt, you can layer elements.

Watch as a box of chocolate emerges out of felt.

Looks like a box of See’s Candies AKA the best chocolates in the world.

Or at least that is what I think.

Made out of felt.

Here I utilized crimp fabric scissors and my trusted hot glue gun to create the heart shaped blueberry pie. Whatever you do, make sure you have quality fabric scissors for cutting felt.

how to assemble

Here I utilized velcro strips and a dab of hot glue to secure each element onto the wire wreath form. I had a heart garland that I sewed together years ago looking for a new home, so that became the perfect bottom half.

How to hang?

Either wrap with ribbon and hang, or just slip the wire form into your door hanger. Pretty huh.
